Lake Wales FL

Lake Wales is a community of around 14,500 and was established in 1912. It’s most notably known by many for Bok Tower which has beautiful gardens and is available to be toured by the public as well as hosting many summer camps, and classes. Those who live there like the small-town charm the town carries along with the amenities it provides. You don’t have to drive far to get to a store of your choosing, a restaurant, or even a movie theatre. Lake Wales has all that and more. People generally come to this area for work in the citrus industry, as Lake Wales is home to Florida’s Natural Orange Juice factory and has many multitudes of orange groves surrounding it.

Many people come to Lake Wales with their families and never leave. The hometown feel is abundant and improvements are happening all the time. It’s also a gateway to other parts of the state including the East coast of Florida having larger highways running through it. So whether you’re coming to Lake Wales to explore, you live here, or you’re passing through to another part of the state,  you’ll find it to be a great place to get a meal, shop, or play for a day.

Situated in the lower eastern corner of Polk County Florida, Lake Wales isn’t as large as some of the other cities in the county but has an abundance of things to do and see that make it well worthy of a visit.
