Lake Wales is a community of around 14,500 and was established in 1912. People generally come to this area for work in the citrus industry, as Lake Wales is home to Florida’s Natural Orange Juice factory and has many multitudes of orange groves surrounding it.
Many people come to Lake Wales with their families and never leave. The hometown feel is abundant and improvements are happening all the time. It’s also a gateway to other parts of the state including the East coast of Florida having larger highways running through it. Situated in the lower eastern corner of Polk County Florida, Lake Wales isn’t as large as some of the other cities in the county but has an abundance of things to do and see that make it well worthy of a visit.
